Weather advisory for region

|

The National Weather Service is estimating that snow mixing with freezing rain could cause hazardous travel conditions later today into Friday morning.
A winter weather advisory will be in effect from midnight tonight until 9 a.m. Friday.
Snow accumulations are expected to be around 1-3 inches for the area of New Castle County, Southern Pennsylvania and South New Jersey. Travelers should be wary of slippery road conditions and limited visibility, the agency said.
There is still uncertainty as to what path the storm will take. A slight shift in track can result in big difference in precipitation and accumulation, the agency said.
