Fire destroys trailer home near Milton

Milton and Lewes firefighters work Friday afternoon at the scene of a mobile-home fire on Meadow View Drive near Milton. The fire, which officials said could have started with stovetop cooking grease, destroyed the trailer home. Firefighters from the Milton and Lewes fire departments battled the blaze inside the trailer, said Kenny Terhune, a spokesman for the Milton Fire Department. He said the hands of one firefighter from the Lewes Fire Department were burned. All three residents escaped unharmed, Terhune said.
